The special school aims to give each child the best possible skills to have an independent life from toddlerhood to adult hood. After detailed clinical assessment and considering mental age, performance and nature of the ability of children they are classified into different groups such as pre-primary, primary, secondary, pre- vocational and vocational. Apart from regular special educational activities we are focusing on co-curricular activities like arts & craft, dance, sports, and conducting monthly outing to places of importance to have an overall personal and social growth of our children. Individualized Educational Program (IEP) sets personalized goals for each student and its tailored to the students different ability. Our teachers work closely with parents to promote learning at home. They are always in touch with other professionals like psychologists, speech therapists, occupational and physiotherapists and medical doctors, whenever the need arises, to make the child benefitted optimally from our school. Improving vocational training and employment opportunities for people with different ability is a critical element for enhancing the quality of life for individual with different abilities and their families. KESAC has taken an initiative in this regard by creating facilities for the training of the differently abled in various trades. Students are assessed for ability and interest in selected vocational area at Vocational Training Unit – KESAC. The areas of training are varied and dynamic based on the individual needs of every trainee.

Family system approach is widely used to get the child to be accepted in the family in terms of his/her physical, emotional and psychological differences from others. We offer comprehensive services, including hearing tests, hearing aid fitting, maintenance and custom ear protection. Additionally, we provide aural rehabilitation and hearing conservation programs to enhance listening and communication skills and prevent hearing loss.
Occupational therapy is a treatment approach for persons with mental and physical limitations; enable them to perform the activities alone, with limited help or with the use of assistive devices.
